NEW! History Through Art Call for Artists

The Arlington Heights Historical Society, together with the Arlington Heights Art Guild invite local member artists to participate in an event that brings to life some of the important stories of local Arlington Heights history and culture. This event is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between the two organizations and exemplifies how art and history are seamless partners in a thriving community.

To engage the community and share the stories in the Arlington Heights Historical Society collection through artistic expression, we invite works of art in 2D and 3D based on two themes. This call for artists will include a competition with monetary prizes, for winners chosen by event attendees and board members of the Arlington Heights Art Guild and Arlington Heights Historical Society.

An exhibit will take place on June 6 from 3pm - 6pm at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum and then continue to additional venues in the village throughout the year. The exhibit which is EXCLUSIVE to Arlington Heights Art Guild members who can submit their application online.
