The Arlington Heights Art Guild (AHAG) is a non-profit organization with the primary purpose of stimulating interest, appreciation and participation in artwork of all kinds.
The organization meets once a month from September to May (excluding December). Most meetings are on the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Wheeling Township Service Center -- 1616 North Arlington Hts. Road, Arlington Hts., IL 60004.
The Guild takes pride in selecting some of the finest professional artists in the area to demonstrate various art forms at our regularly scheduled meetings. Our member artists have opportunities to display their own artwork at local exhibits. In the spring monetary scholarships are awarded to talented high school artists who submit works to be judged by a panel of our members.
Membership dues are $25 for individuals and $30 for couples. All members are encouraged to participate by volunteering time on various committees. Download an application below.
“A Walk in the Park” - a fine arts and crafts fair - is sponsored and organized by the Guild -- many members are needed for the success of this fundraiser. The fair is held at North School Park in Arlington Heights on the last Sunday of August. Vendors need not be Guild members; work is juried for acceptance.
