From our fabulous Art Fair Committee Chair 2023, Linda Campuzano:
A Walk in the Park 2023 was honestly the best one ever. The weather was perfect, the attendance was huge, and our new guitarist was phenomenal. The addition of a taco cart this year was very well received and he will be back next year as will the other food vendors and musician. I heard from many artists who praised the show and said it was their favorite of the year. The art guild volunteers should be very proud that we have, once again, created a high-quality art fair that vendors and artists want to keep returning to year after year.

Arlington Heights Art Guild hosts our annual "A Walk in the Park"
fine art fair on the last Sunday of August. North School Park at 410 N. Arlington Heights Rd in Arlington Heights is the place to spend your Sunday strolling under the shade trees while enjoying all kinds of art, food and music.
This is a free event with plenty of free parking. Many artistic vendors, both local and from other states all with interesting and unique designs under their own tents. Art students from high school Dist. 214 also have their own tent.
The Arlington Heights Art Guild is very proud that they can support these students in D214, by giving scholarships to the top three art students who enter their work to be judge in a contest held every March. The money raised from the sale of booth spaces at "A Walk in the Park" goes directly to the scholarship fund.
At the Art Guild Information Booth during this wonderful annual event, you’d find a collection jar if you would like to donate too. Thank you.
It’s always fun to get the general public involved when they attend an art fair. The attendees would have an opportunity to vote for their favorite artist. Vote from 10am to 3pm at the Information Table on the north side of the park. At 4:00pm, AHAG would then present the winner with the People’s Choice Award certificate and prize.
The Arlington Heights Art Guild welcomes new members who share an interest and an appreciation in all areas of artwork.
